GORDON
Joan Ruth Gordon, born on May 13, 1947 in Vancouver, BC, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2008 in Comox, BC at the age of 60 years.
Joan was predeceased by her father, Joley Warren in 1999. She is survived by her loving partner, Douglas McLees; her children, Scott Gordon (Kim), Dana Gordon (Tom Skillman), and Abby Morris (Ray); grandchildren, Nathan, Miranda and Drayja; her siblings, Gerald Warren (Evelyn), Bob Vickery (Regula) and Bonnie Kirkby (Len); her mother, Evelyn Warren and her Sister-in-Law, Roxy Kehler (Wayne).
Joan will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends and will live on in all she taught, created and gave of herself.
A Service to Celebrate Joan’s Life will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Mr. Tom Skillman officiating. A Reception will follow the Service at the Elks Hall, located adjacent to Sutton’s. Cremation is entrusted to Mission Hill Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Joan may be made to either the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
