John
John passed away at home March 3, 2009 after a valiant battle with heart disease and cancer. He is survived by his wife Margaret, son Peter (Debbie) of Victoria, daughter Melanie (Gary Allen) of Gig Harbor, WA, USA, grandsons Justin, Braden and Dawson. He is also survived by his brother Chris of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
John's life would seem too short to many, but those who knew and were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
The family would like to thank doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital, home support caregivers and the Hospice Society.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in southern California.
