John Bremner Rutherford passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, BC on September 9, 2007 at the age of 85 years. John was predeceased by 5 brothers and one sister. John is survived and will be lovingly missed by his wife of 58 years, Bridget, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will take place at COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:15 am.
Interment at Courtenay Civic Cemetery to follow. Donations in John’s memory to the B.C. Alzheimer Society, Suite 300, 828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1E2 would be appreciated.
