Brown - John Hartley of Courtenay, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 28th, 2006, at age 53. Predeceased by his mother, Bette Jean Wiltshire Brown, he is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughter Arielle Julia Brown; his father John Thomas Brown; (Lynn Forbes); sisters Pamela Carolyn McDivitt (Garry McDivitt), niece Kaitlin and nephew Tim; Angela Christine Walsh (Brian Walsh), nephews Matthew, John and Michael and niece Erin; as well as his brother Cameron Francis Brown. Funeral Services will take place from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD on Saturday, February 4th at 1:00pm with Pastor Tim Rumsch officiating. The casket will remain open from 12:00 noon, Cremation will follow. Should friends wish, donations in Hartley’s memory to the B.C. Institute of Technology, A.M.E.
