1943 ~ 2005
Passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. He was a longtime resident of the Comox Valley who will be remembered for his extensive volunteer work with COPS, as well as his “Two Men and a Lil’ Lady Catering Company”. John provided twenty-three years of serving food with a smile at CFB Comox.
He will be sadly missed by his loving spouse and best friend Teresa, son Gordon, sister Kathleen (Bill), nephews Norm and Mike (Teresa) and their children Colin and Anita.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at the Courtenay Legion on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 3:00 pm.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society. Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
