JOSEPH MARC EMILE OUELLET

July 4, 1940 - September 3, 2010

Passed away in Comox, British Columbia on September 3, 2010. He was predeceased by his mother and father, brothers Roger and Gerard and his sister Reine. Marc is survived and will be lovingly missed by his wife of 42 years, Fay, his son David (Paula) of Langley, B.C., his daughter Cheryl of Courtenay, his brothers; Gerald (Margo), John (Bernie), Josh (Lise), Claude, Rino (Susan), Rheal (Crystal) and Gilles, his sisters; Rinette (Doug), Rina, Monique (Dick) and Louise (Paul).

Marc joined the military in 1958 and served in the regular forces serving in France in the early 60’s, then to Winnipeg, Portage La Prairie, Yellowknife, Ottawa, Borden until 1987 when he retired as a warrant officer. He moved to Comox and served in the reserves until 1995. In his leisure time Marc enjoyed golf (he was a member of Glacier Greens Golf Club for many years), traveling, winemaking and watching Blue Jays baseball. Marc had a great sense of humour and a smile for everyone. He will be missed by family and friends in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and the Comox Valley. Marc had a love of animals and always took a bag of apples for the deer on the golf course. He will be missed by his pets Cleo and Millie.
