Passed peacefully into God’s presence with her children surrounding her after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Andy, her parents, one brother, three sisters and one grandson. Sheila is survived and will be greatly missed by her sons; Gerry (Lorrie) of Courtenay, Alex (Kelly) of Edmonton, Kevin of Calgary and Jim (Terelyne) of Calgary, her daughters; Anna (Douglas) of Red Deer, Chris (Rob) of Ottawa, Bernie of Victoria and Colette of Vancouver, her grandchildren; Matthew, Erin, Logan, Abby, Luke, Megan, Danica, Billy, Katie, David and Michael, Kimberly, Wendy, Mindy, T.J. and Eric, Her great grandchildren; Jack, Emily, Nathan, Jack and Isaac, her sister Joan (Peter) Higgins of County Limerick, Ireland as well as many nieces and nephews throughout Canada and Ireland. Sheila was a member of the C.W.L. and was devoted to her faith throughout her life. She left Ireland at 17 to become an exemplary nurse in England. She immigrated to Canada where she met Andy and settled to raise eight children.
