June passed away suddenly on Monday, June 22, 2009 at home. She was born in Liverpool, N.S. on June 18, 1950.

June lived a rich and full life. When she was younger she traveled across Canada more than once. She met and married her husband Fred and raised two children. After Fred passed away she made her home in Nova Scotia.

June met Myron over the telephone and they carried on a long distance relationship for a few months, until Myron invited her out here for a visit and the rest is history. They did everything together. He is an Elk so June joined the Royal Purple and she was proud to do so.

June loved to read, but she is most famous for her baking. She loved to bake and anyone who knew her always got a sample. June loved children and they loved her. She was known to all as "Gramma".

June was predeceased by husband Fred, her sister Faye, parents Harvey and Vera Doggett and is survived by: her life partner Myron, daughter Melissa (Brad) and their children Anna and Beth of NB, son Kenneth (Candace) and their children, Freddie and Anik of NB, brother Angus (Deborah) of NS, niece Faerlie and her family in Georgia. June is also survived by Uncle Harold (95) in Nova Scotia and Myron's children: James, Brian, Susan, Wayne, Mike and their families.

A Celebration of Life for June will be held on July 16, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Upper Elks.
