Passed away peacefully at the Campbell River Hospital on Friday, September 25th, 2009 at age 51.
She is predeceased by her mother Myrna and father Reginald Waters, and survived by her son Cory and her grandson Logan, brother Darryl (Aunore), sisters Shelley, Wendy (Clem), Melissa (Doyle), nieces and nephews Ryan, Colin, Derek, Keith and Chelsea.
Karen lived her life with great spirit and courage, distance was never an issue as she was always close to our hearts and we loved her. Karen will be taken to Edmonton where she will be interred with her mother and father.
Private family arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Services/Elk Falls Crematorium.
