CAVIN - Kate

Kate Cavin (nee Rutledge) passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fernie BC and was a long time resident of Fanny Bay, BC. Kate was predeceased by her loving husband Donald William and 3 brothers, Art, Harold and Jack. She is survived by her daughters: Sandra Poje, Roberta (Bruce) Barnetson, and Joyce (Keith) Gray; grandchildren: Lisa Barnetson, Tracy (Brad) Esplin, Luella Barnetson, Grant (Melany) Poje; two great-granddaughters: Mackenzie and Alicia Esplin; sisters-in-law: Margaret Rutledge, and Jean Turner; and several nieces and nephews. Among Kate's interests were gardening and afternoon teas with neighbours and friends. Kate will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of life will be held in her honour on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the O.A.P. Hall in Fanny Bay, BC.
