Passed away peacefully at the Royal Jubilee
Hospital on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009. She was born in Duffield
Alberta, April 11, 1922. Kay will be remembered by her family and
friends. Predeceased by her husband Freddie
and son Douglas.
Survived by her sister Anne in California;
children, Debbie, Donald (Brone), Craig, Maureen (Ted); and six grand
children. She will be
remembered for her love of life, her annual
neighborhood picnics and her determination and strength. Mom’s
favorite expression,
“God knows!”
A memorial service was held in Victoria May 20, at the Reid Chapel at Somerset House.
