Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family and close friends. Predeceased by his father, Maxwell Thorne, sister Maxine Hussey and special nephew Jason Masters. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife Sandra, son: Edward (Michelle) of Victoria; daughter: Tanya (Chris) of Royston; mother: Eva Thorne of Grand Falls, NL; sister: Joan Thorne of Grand Falls, NL; brother-in-law: Edwin Hussey of St. John’s, NL; father and mother-in-law: Clarence and Joyce Melendy of Grand Bank, NL. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and an endless amount of friends from across Canada and USA.
Max was a truly gentle soul who gave so freely and unconditionally of his love and friendship, expecting nothing in return. He will be deeply missed by all who crossed his path.
