Ken passed away suddenly surrounded by his wife and children.

Ken was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Air Force for 32 years. He was an Aero-Engine technician who worked on the Dakotas, Hercules and the CF-18 Hornet. He and the family

were stationed in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Cold Lake and Comox. He retired from the regular forces in Comox and served in the CAF Reserve Sqn for several years. “Career Two” as he called it was working on boat engines in the Comox Valley. Ken belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch# 160 in Comox and the Courtenay & District Fish and Game Association. He loved fishing, camping and a Lucky around the fire.


Predeceased by his parents, Jim & Lil Potts, sister Melvina, and parents-in-law, Bob & Ethel Vigne. Ken leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Vicki, son James (Sarah), daughter Michelle (Andrew) and 3 grandchildren, Jade, Liam and Cori, sisters, Linda (Mike), Loraine, brother Garry and numerous nieces and nephews.


No service by request, memorial donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Sincere thank you to all the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, ER, ICU, the Chemotherapy Staff and all the doctors who supported the family this last two weeks.
