1944 ~ 2003
Kim of Hornby Island, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family on Friday August 1, 2003 at age 58. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife Sandra; children Lisa, Shaheen, Larissa, Skai, Malta, Kisa and Cameron; his grandchildren; mother Reen, brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Kim served with the Navy from 1961 - 1974, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. He then began work with B.C. Ferries on the Hornby-Denman run where he continued until shortly before his death. He was active as a union representative, was well liked and made many friends during his nearly 30 years on the ferries.
A private family gathering will be held in celebration of Kim’s life. COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, entrusted with arrangements.
