Lawrence Haryett Larson passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 22, 2006 in Comox, BC. Larry “Dad” will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his children: Karen (Mark), Cheryl, Cameron (Jen), Kimberly (Dan), and Curtus (Amber), his grandchildren Vanessa, Nigel, Cale and Cody, and by his cousin Neta. Larry was born April 19, 1937 in Maryfield, Saskatchewan settling in BC as a young man and lived the last few years in Comox, BC. He was a psychiatric nurse for many years helping many individuals find comfort. He loved to draw, he especially loved to read, enjoyed hockey, and he loved to be with his family. He also enjoyed debating everything under the sun. He was a man of great character, wisdom, strength and love. He will be remembered for his unmeasurable sacrifices, reassuring guidance and endless love that will never leave us. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2006 in Courtenay, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Salvation Army.
