Our beloved husband and father was taken by the angels at Victoria Jubilee Hospital on Sept 4, 2002 with his devoted wife and 4 children by his side.
Les has been the mailman in Fanny Bay for many,many years and he loved his job and so many of the people he proudly served. Born in New Westminster Feb. 11th, 1936.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Jen, sons Danny(Sylvia) Prince George, and Christopher(Melanie)of Vancouver. Daughters Shawna(Darren) of Nanaimo and Shelley(George) of Courtenay. Les also leaves behind 5 grandchildren Justin, Toni, Chelsea, Colton and Carley who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by one brother Ken of Langley and his two very dearest friends Valerie and Bill Holst.
Our family would like to offer our sincerest thanks to the people of Fanny Bay for all the kindnesses you have shown us during this most difficult time, also to our many friends for their constant support. We would especially like to thank Margaret and Les Pawsey for being our real live angels.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 10 at 3 p.m. at Comox Valley Funeral Home, 1101 Ryan Rd. Tea to follow in the Garden Room at the funeral home.
