Lillian, aged 90, of Courtenay, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, December 17th, 2004. Predeceased by her son Ifor Maldwyn Humphreys; her sisters: Katie, Dorothy and Irene; as well as her parents Nelson and Alice. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Stuart; niece Alice Crawford; great nephews: Damon and John; great niece Nicki; and great-great nephew Matthew. Lillian was born in Victoria and lived there most of her life, prior to moving to the Valley with Stuart in 1991. Special thanks to all the staff at E.C.U. for their incredible care and kindness. A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 2:00 pm from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORIUM., 1101 RYAN ROAD, with fellowship and refreshments following in “The Garden Room” of the funeral home. Lillian was well-known for her fondness of animals, particularly dogs. The family asks that should one wish to make a donation in her memory, the Comox Valley SPCA, Box 1284, Comox, B.C. V9N 7Z8, be given consideration
