PETTIS - Lois Helga, of Comox, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 19th, 2009, in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Norris McKenzie Pettis, she is survived by her sons Norris and Blair Pettis; grandchildren Scott, Shawn, Tripp and Lindsay; several great-grandchildren and the Isford and Pettis Clans in Winnipeg; as well as friends Grace Tako, Jackie, and many others.
Lois was a member of the Comox Valley Icelandic Association and in her leisure, enjoyed arts and crafts. She was an honest, open girl from a Manitoba farm, never wanting to be a burden to anyone. Friends are invited to extend kind wishes and share stories at her home, 1589 Arbutus Avenue, Comox on Saturday, April 4th in celebration of her life.
