Maralyn Alma
FEB 25, 1942 – NOV 25, 2008
Maralyn passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her Husband Leo of 49 ½ years; her daughters Denise (Tony), Karen, Linda and her son Dwayne (Jamila).
She will be missed by her grandchildren: Kathryn, Gregory, Joey (Karen), Austin, Jacob, Jenna (Dwayne), Megan, Matthew (Linda) and numerous extended family and friends.
Maralyn was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox. Some of her many passions were her family, friends, bowling and bingo.
A special thanks to Dr. Musgrave and the nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Campbell River Hospital. Also, many thanks to Father Paul, Father Scott and Father Joe for their many visits.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Christ the King Parish at 11:00 a.m., 1599 Tunner Drive, Courtenay; Celebrant, Father Paul Murphy. A reception will follow
Maralyn requested no flowers but a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
