Peggy Brautigan, aged 89 years, passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Hospital ECU in Comox, B.C. after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William “Bill” Brautigan. Peggy is survived and will be sadly missed by her sons, Douglas (Donna) of Winnipeg and Bruce (Helen) of Courtenay, her grandchildren Cynthia, Darren, Tammy, Daniel, Michael and Emma, her great grandchildren Carly, Stacy, Brendan and Connor as well as numerous other relatives and friends. After Bill’s retirement, Peggy and Bill would spend summers in Minaki, Ontario and winters in Texas. In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing, crafts and reading. Peggy liked to socialize, playing cards or having parties when she and Bill were younger. She was a generous, considerate lady with a good sense of humour who was well liked by all who knew her. A Service in memory of Bill and Peggy will be held in Minaki, Ontario at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY, B.C.
