BILLY - Marilyn Rose, passed away unexpectedly on February 22nd, 2002 at the age of 39 years. She is survived by her children Jonathon Billy (Sarah), grandson Kane J. Billy, daughter Jenny Billy (Dion) and grandson Mikyle J.W.J. Charlie. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents father Walter Billy of Cape Mudge, mother Edna Hayes of Courtenay; brother Walter Billy Jr. and her grandparents Chief Andrew Frank and Margaret. Marilyn is survived by her partner Nathan Wudel, her sisters: (Mom and Dad) Mary and Wayne Everson, their children Rob, Rick, Charlene, Nicole and Andy; Florence (Luke) Sinclair, their children Norman, Janette, Patrick and Ralph; Fernanda (Roch) Pare and their son Dominic; Fran Prince, daughter Danielle; Martha Kahnapace, her children Edward, Julie and Melvin; Maryann Billy and her children Charlene, Elizabeth, Greg and David; Nicole Everson and her children Kristina, Michelle, Kevin and Mercy and many cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 1st, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. from the CHAPEL of PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME, 440 ENGLAND AVE. with Pastor Ross Fox officiating. Public viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28th, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Comox Indian Band Cemetery on Bayside Dr. A time for refreshments and fellowship will occur after the interment at the Comox Band Hall. PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME have been entrusted with the arrangements.
