GALEAZZI - Mario, of Campbell River, B.C., passed away suddenly on December 15, 2005, in Telkwa, B.C.
Born in Cumberland, B.C., on November 9, 1918, he was a pioneer in the logging industry.
He is survived by his loving wife Muriel; daughters Vicki (Clem) Siddall of Telkwa, Lorraine Wentzell of Terrace, B.C.; stepchildren Gregg (Mona) Meiklejohn of Victoria, B.C., Tracy (Paul) Charlton of Delta, B.C. He is also survived by grandchildren Dayna Siddall, Carrie (Rick) Freeman, Eric Freeman, Alicia Freeman, Lisa Wentzell, Ryan Wentzell, Michelle Meiklejohn, Jesse Charlton, Christopher Charlton, and great-grandchildren Courtenay Freeman, Austin Zilinski, Carter Wentzell and Devon Wentzell; brother Tom (Doreen) of Courtney, B.C., sister Evelyn Pearse of Victoria, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be held January 6, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at the United Church on Pinecrest in Campbell River. Cremation.
