Brown, Marion Margaret
Of Courtenay, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, June 18, 2006. She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her husband Ken; daughter Trudy (Stephen) of Cowichan Bay, son Bruce (Karen) of Duncan, daughter Paula (Dennis) of Courtenay; granchildren: Matt, Kate, Kevin, Kelly, Heather and Lindsey; brother-in-law David (Beverly) of Nanaimo; sister Ann (Lawrence) of Duncan; as well as her nieces and nephews. In her leisure, she very much enjoyed travelling and spending time with her grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends in Celebration of her Life will take place on Saturday, June 24th at 10:00 am from Comox Valley Funeral Home & Crematorium, 1101 Ryan Road with fellowship and refreshments to follow in “The Garden Room and Outdoor Patio” of the funeral home. Should friends wish, donations in Marion’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 102 - 1509 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, BC V9N 2K6 would be appreciated.
