June 17, 1965 – March 18, 2017

The family of Mark David Bell are sad to announce his passing on March 18, 2017 at his home in Courtenay. Predeceased by his father and sister, Mark leaves behind to mourn his passing loving wife Nell Bell; mother Judy Bell; sons Nick Bell and Dub Bell; daughters Lyndsey Bell (Jay Valeri), Kristy Bell and Allison Guichon; grandchildren Mya, Spencer, Jayden, Tessa, Danica and Ronnie; aunts and uncles Penny & Bert Hansen and Beverly Dodge.

Mark was a hardworking man who owned Bell Bulldozing for 30 years and truly loved what he did for a living. He also worked for the Island Highway Services, mainroad contracting. In his leisure, he enjoyed watching movies, loved old school music, being in the bush and summer camping at Puntledge (locally-so he could go home at night). Family was everything to Mark and he loved his grandkids so much. He enjoyed being informed on world issues and raising others awareness. Mark was a kind, happy man who brought so much laughter to all our lives. We will miss him dearly.
