Passed away unexpectedly while fishing near Royston on August 31, 2008. He was predeceased by his father Dave Allen and his brother David Allen Jr. Mark is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife, Elaine, his son Zachary and daughter Brittany, his sister Shelley and brother-in-law Gary Boudreau of Langford, B.C. and his mother Claire Allen of West Bank, B.C. Mark had 25 years of service in the Canadian Forces. A Celebration of Mark’s Life will take place on Monday, September 8th, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation & Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay with a reception to follow – everyone welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory to the Military Family Fund would be appreciated.
