Marlene Helen Morrison passed away on August 23, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She lived in Port Coquitlam with her partner of 6 years Victor Omphrey. Before meeting Victor she resided in Comox for 30 years. Marlene will be sadly missed by her partner Victor and his family. She is survived by her sons Wayne , David ( Mona ) , Duayne ( Barbara ) , Robbie and daughter Ada Dawson ( Frank ), brother George Burns ( Julie ) , and aunt to Robert and Sherry, 11 grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren, and is predeased by her mother Nellie Fisher. Family and friends will gather at 1663 Dogwood Ave Comox on Saturday Sept. 13 from 2-5 for a Celebration of life. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Marlene's name to the BC Cancer Society.
