Marshall Turner

April 22, 2005

Turner, Marshall

Dec 28, 1943 - Apr 22, 2005

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Marshall Turner, after a valiant battle with Cancer. Left with giant holes in their hearts are Jeannie, his wife of 38 years; daughters Tiffany (Diezel) Lodder of Brighton, ON, Jodi Turner of Winnipeg, and Mindy (Lindsey) Halladay of Medicine Hat; five grandsons, Cole Henderson, and Kayden, Jaren, Carter and Tyler Halladay, mourn the loss of their Papa, too. Pouring their own drinks now are his brother Ross (Hazel) Turner of Brandon, sister Gerrie (George) Bardsley of Minnedosa, brother-in-law Bob Hickling of Brandon, and sisters-in-law Nancy (Kym) Behrns of Kamloops, and Judy Hickling of Powell River.

Marshall worked for the Province of Manitoba Government for 30 years, before he and Jeannie retired to the Comox Valley in 1999. Not content to sit and do nothing, and finding golf not all it’s cracked up to be, Marshall passed his time by working at the Comox Valley Recovery Centre, being a volunteer driver for the Cancer van, and painting houses.

Marshall was Past Master of Brandon Lodge #19 AFAM, past District Deputy Grand Master 7th Masonic District in Manitoba, a member of Comox Lodge #188 AFAM, and Cyrus Chapter #14 RAM.
