Mary Davie
April 30th, 1923 ~ December 19, 2005
Mary was born in Spillimacheen, BC and passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, BC.
She was predeceased by her husband Stan; parents, Mary and Alexander Mairs; brother Robert Mairs; sisters: Margaret Cummings and Cathy Matches and by brother-in-law Jack Matches.
She is survived by: her daughters: Mary (John) and Phyllis; grandchildren: Debbie and Bob, John and Yolanda, Robert and Lisa, Cathy and Darrel; great-grandchildren: Hope, Paige, Drew, Shyann, Jenna, Ryan, Cameron, Nolan and Nicolas; sister-in-law Phyllis Keefer and by many nieces and nephews.
Mary enjoyed hunting, fishing and was involved in many sports including bowling, curling and golf.
She was a life long member of the Order of Royal Purple; she also served on City Council. She was very active in the community and she will be missed by her family and friends.

Following Mary’s wishes, there will be no formal service. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined; donations to the Royal Purple would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home.
