“Mike”
of Comox passed away suddenly on Monday, September 13th, 2004. Predeceased by his father Kaario, he is survived and will be missed by his wife Ruby; sons Adam and Owen; mother Anja; sisters Ritva and Ritta; brother Brian; as well as many nieces and nephews. He worked with BC Hydro for 28 years and in his leisure he enjoyed camping, skiing and casual walks, as well as woodworking projects. Mike was well-known as an all-around handyman, skillful at repairing most anything and will mostly be remembered as a wonderful, loving father and husband. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, September 18th at 3:30 p.m. from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD.
