(1932 - 2009)
Passed away at home January 13, 2009. Survived by her loving family: daughters Debbie Macchia (Rick) of Port Hardy, Vicki Russell (John) of Comox, Beverley Whitehead of Comox, Lorraine Holden (Mark) of Campbell River and her son Ian Sopp of Williams Lake. As well, 12 very dear grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by husband John in 2008 and beloved son Gordon in 1989.
Special thanks to Joanne for her kind and patient care of mom during the last few months. To Dr. Brad Harris a thanks for all the home visits and phone calls. And a heartfelt thank you from all the family to Reverend Maggie Enwright for her continued support.
No service by request. Cremation Services entrusted to Piercy’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Comox Hospice Society.
