PRICE, Millicent (Millie) Laura
Millie passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 25, 2010 with her beloved husband, Basil, by her side. She will be sadly missed by her sweetheart Basil, her lifetime girlfriends, Evelyn and Sylvia, many special friends and good neighbors and a large spiritual family.
Our Millie was a gracious and beautiful lady with a big heart, a kind and gentle soul.
She will be remembered for her wonderful hospitality and warm friendship to many. Millie enjoyed a full life, was a devoted and loving daughter to her mother Mac, who predeceased her, and a loyal and loving wife to Basil. Sister to Dewey, Howard and Steve (predeceased).
She and her sweetheart, Basil, enjoyed more than 60 wonderful year’s together, fishing, camping, entertaining in their lovely home. Base’s garden was a delight to Millie. Millie was also a loyal servant of her heavenly Father, Jehovah, and enjoyed sharing her Kingdom hope with many people.
Basil would like to thank the home nurses and many home support workers who attended with loving care and dignity to Millie over the past years. You all made it possible for Millie to spend her last years where she most wanted to be, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her sweetheart. You are a special group of people. Thank you again.
No service by Millie’s request. There will be a spring Tea held at the home of Millie and Basil, overlooking the garden, on a warm spring day in 2011 in Millie’s memory.
