Decosse, Molly Marikao

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear Molly on September 25, 2006 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, BC. Molly Marikao Decosse (nee: Molly Marikao Nishimazuru) was born on the family homestead at Broxburn, Alberta in May 1931 and graduated from the Galt Business College as a bookkeeper before moving out into the greater world. In her 25 years here in the Comox Valley her entire dedication as a volunteer to the hospital Auxiliary Gift and Thrift Shop and the ECU, the Legion and the Comox Lions Club, usually Molly was on the go seven days a week, Molly had hundreds of friends here. She is survived by her sister Mae Hanson (Arnie) and numerous nieces and nephews and her husband Leonard. Private Cremation; Molly did not want a service and asked that those who knew her remember her in their own way.
