Williams, Neil Douglas
Born Sept 13, 1930 in Byrne Wales, Passed away July 3, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, BC Canada. His passing comes 4 months after his partner, Jean Hall. They shared the last 7 years caring for each other. Neil was always quick with a smile and ready with a joke or a story. He loved opera and shared his strong singing voice.
Neil was a veteran of the Canadian Naval Services. He will be missed by many friends, his three surviving children, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren
A celebration of his life and scattering of his ashes will be held later this year at Alert Bay, BC. Those wishing to send condolences to the family may do so by emailing yatesfuneral@shaw.ca. He requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Children’s Cancer Society.
