Nellie Redman passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox on June 10, 2002 at the age of 90. She is survived by her son Rick Verbeek of Courtenay, 2 grandchildren; Richard (Lori Lynn) of Belleville, Ont., Leesha of Comox, 4 great grandchildren: Dalton, Erica, Jasmine, and Shelby. A private family service will be held at a later date. Piercy’s Funeral Home and CREMATORIUM have been entrusted with the arrangements.
