Olga Bunkowski passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2010 in the Comox Valley Seniors Village in Courtenay, where she was lovingly cared for. She is survived by her son Gordon (Kim) and their daughter Natasha; grandson Geoffrey and his mother Kathleen; brother Wally and families and many relatives in Alberta.
Olga was a successful business woman. All her life owning a ladies wear store in Hope, B.C. and later as a realtor in Prince George, B.C. with her soul mate of 65 years, Ervin who passed away on December 24, 2009. They retired in Mazatlan, Mexico for 22 years where they owned a home and loved to play golf. Their later years were spent in Comox at Valley Vista Estates, where they enjoyed their many friends and neighbours. We invite all their friends to a Celebration of Their Lives at the Club House at Valley Vista Estates off Lerwick Road, Courtenay on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Olga and Ervin will be sadly missed by family and friends, but we know that they are together again.
