Passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Murray and Olivia Detlor. Pam is survived and will be greatly missed by her brothers Michael and Charles, both of Ontario, her nieces and nephews; Breanna, Mathew and Ryan as well as her extended family; Debbie, Fern, Yuriah, Kevin, Lindsay, Nancy and Thomas.
She was born in Ontario and moved to B.C. in 1974 and loved it so much that this became her home. Pam lived in many places on Vancouver Island with her final home in Royston for over 10 years. Pam worked previously as a health care worker. She was a grass roots person who enjoyed wood carving, painting, music, poetry, reading and sitting around a campfire having a BBQ in her leisure time. Pam’s favorite love was water and the ocean, she loved sitting quietly looking over “Momma Ocean.”
Pam had a deep love for all animals to the point of having special voices for each. If friends so wish donations in Pam’s memory made to the animal rescue society of your choice would be appreciated.
