Cotter - Patricia Jean

(Trisha)

Born in Vancouver, September 24, 1952, Patricia Jean Cotter (nee Jacobs) passed away peacefully in Vancouver General Hospital, after a brief illness, on July 26, 2003. She was with family and friends when she stepped into her restful garden. Patricia is survived by her mother, Eleanore, father Jim, brother Warren, sons Owen and Kelby, daughter Bronwyn, granddaughters Eileah and Kalina, her step-mother Lila and step-sister Elly and husband Richard. Vibrant, strong, hardworking and full of life, this beautiful woman had two consuming passions - her family and her many gardens. Moving to the North Island in the early seventies, she met her husband of 25 years, Richard. Her diverse accomplishments were numerous, including managing Graphics West, raising money for Rainbow Country Daycare, breakthroughs in care and respect for mentally and physically challenged people, preparing a permanent home for Bronwyn and Kelby, participating in many organizations and, last but not least, starting and running a successful horticultural business. Words are inadequate to express how much we love her and the loss we feel at her passing. We carry her with us in our hearts and memories. Our mother, daughter, sister and friend, rest now, in the garden of your dreams.

Please join us at the celebration of the life of Trisha to be held at the Port Hardy Civic Center, 7395 Columbia Street, Port Hardy, BC, August 23, 2003 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted on behalf of Kelby and Bronwyn, at Evergreen Credit Savings Unions, 8755 Granville, Port Hardy, BC V0N 2P0
