Pearle Marie (Clarke)
1914 – 2008
Peacefully in her 95th year at the Glacier View Lodge Society in Comox, BC. Pearle is survived by her sons David (Marie) of Comox and Norman (Barbara) of Mississauga, ON granddaughter Kate, grandson Jonathan and his partner Sarah Bumstead of Toronto, sisters-in-law Marjorie Gatti (Clegg) Kelowna, Joan Clarke (Fred) Burnaby and Vi Clarke (Gordon) Ottawa.
Pearle was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) George in 2000, sister Doris Bull (Georgetown) and brothers Ted, Gary, Fred and Gordon (Clarke)
Born and raised in Fort William, ON (Thunder Bay) Pearle was a graduate Registered Nurse and practiced in Fort William. Pearle and Jack raised their family in Fort William and Sturgeon Falls ON and retired to Vancouver BC in the mid 70’s and later to Kelowna and Comox.
The family would like to acknowledge their gratitude to Glacier View Lodge Society and especially Dr. Woldnik, the staff, volunteers Barbara and Rowan Ley and the in-house cat Jasper who gave their loving attention to Pearle.
