Ray Pearson, “Raymo,” as his family and friends knew him, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the age of 55 years.

A native of the Comox Valley, Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his loved ones. Ray’s career took him to Prince Rupert where he met and married his loving wife, Shirley.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Shirley (nee: McCann), his children: Shane (Tillie), Roy (Nikki), Travis, Tyrell, Billy (Liz), and Patty as well as his 10 grandchildren, his beloved mother Pat, his brothers Garry (June), Rick (Cathy), Twin brother Roy (Sheree), his sisters Linda (Vaughn), Diane (Wayne), and Darlene, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be sorely missed by all of his friends and his special buddy Mopar.

His father, Fred and nephew, Michael, have predeceased Ray. They are enjoying their time out fishing together.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 2 pm at the Elks Hall, 516 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC.
