GARFAT, Richard Jim
Of Courtenay, passed away at home in the presence of his family on Monday July 12, 2010, after a battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents JIm and Elsie he is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife Janet, son Michael, and daughter Alison, as well as his brothers Thom (Sylviane) and Robert (Rebekah).
Jim will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful person who could resolve any problem he put his mind to.
A private gathering will take place to celebrate his life. For those wishing donations in Jim's memory to the Comox Valley Head Injury Society, 99-1742 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, BC. V9N 2K8 would be appreciated.
