Emmerson Rick Stuart

Rick passed into the presence of the Lord at his home in Courtenay of a heart attack. He is the second born son of Ross and Dorothy Emmerson. Rick was born at Comox Hospital. The family moved to Calgary, Alberta when Rick was 5 years old where he attended school to grade eight, when he returned to the Valley and completed his schooling.
Rick was predeceased by his father Ross in November 1994, and his much loved brother Ronald George Emmerson in May 2001. His grandma Harris 1992 and uncle Orval Harris 1990. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother Dot Emmerson; brothers David (Donna) and Mike (Trina); nieces and nephews James, April, and Dylan Emmerson and Hannah and Christian Emmerson; uncle Phil Harris & aunty Marg Harris; and Theresa Gardiner. His very dear friends Glen & Ivy Sim, Roy & Georgina Pedersen and many others.
A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, August 24 at Aaron House Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Judy Pebernat officiating. Rick and his brother Ron’s ashes will be interned together at Courtenay Civic Cemetary later this week. Rick never got over the death of his much loved brother Ron. His spirit was crushed and his heart was broken, now they’re together forever in the arms of Jesus.
