Rob Potts
Nov. 22, 1968 - Mar. 24, 2004
Rob passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at his home on March 24, 2004. He is the much-loved son of Norma and the late Eric Potts, and birth mother Lucille Flookes. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Karen, Wayne (Pam), Larry (Karen), Lissa (Brian), John and their families. Also by his second family Darlene Kramp, Derek Craig and their families, and John Vincent, Jeff McLaughlin, Brian Pickard and ‘Beau’. Also by Barb and Colin Greenwood. Rob’s life was enriched by, and he will be sadly missed by his friends at CAPS, by his friends and relief workers Elaine and Russ Peterson and Cheryl McDiarmid and by his Tina Turner buddy L.T.
As a boy, Rob had a grin to melt everyone’s heart. He liked stories and swimming and listening to his dad sing. He attended Beaufort School and Vanier then went on to CAPS. He bowled with Special O, went to dances with friends and really liked his coffee. His greatest pleasure came from music, listening to his favorite songs and singing along. Take comfort that Rob is with his dad again.
A Celebration of Rob’s life will be held at Piercy’s, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay on Friday, April 2, 2004 between 1 pm & 3 pm. Please drop in and share your memories.
