Gerry of Qualicum Beach, formerly of Courtenay, passed away suddenly in Nanaimo on Monday, November 10th, 2003. Predeceased by his brothers Art and Ted, Gerry is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Wilma; sons: Terry Mangles (Scotia) and Rob Mangles (Rhonda); grandchildren: Hayley, Dylan, Jayden and Nicholas, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a volunteer firefighter. In his leisure, Gerry was a passionate gardener who loved spending time with his cats and dogs. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. A gathering in celebration of his life took place on Saturday, November 15th from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, Courtenay.
