Thoburn, Robert Parnaby
Passed away peacefully March 6, 2005 in the Powell River General Hospital in his 90th Year, born in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, September 26, 1915, he immigrated to Canada at the age of 7. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen, his daughters and sons-in-law, Georgina and Fraser Gavin, Catherine and Ken Behan and Carol and Len Crivea. One sister Edna (Jim) Raymond and sister-in-law Nina Shearer. Papa to Ronnie and Mimi, Scott and Dorothy, Kevin and Malle, Michael and Jeannie, Christopher and Robin, Marla and John and Great Papa to Brenden, Taydin, Alyra and Rylyn. Many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Elks and Masonic Lodge.
A Memorial Service will be held at Piercy’s Funeral Home in Courtenay, BC on March 11, 2005 at 11:00 am.
