December 17, 1947 – July 27, 2009
Robbie passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on the morning of July 27.
Rob was predeceased by his mother, Margurite and his grandparents and nephew Lee, also his four-legged pal Jeep!
Robbie leaves behind daughter Justine, son Kyle, his long time love ex-wife Sandy, all of Vancouver. also missing and loving him, sister, Margaret of Black Creek, many nieces and nephews and extended family both here and on the mainland, as well as his father Lenard of Comox. Rob loved and missed his family deeply.
Robbie was born in Port Alberni but grew up in North Vancouver. He moved to Comox Valley and finished his schooling here. Rob lived many years in Gold River and worked at the pulp mill as a welder. His favourite hobby was to go fishing! Fishing for anything and how he loved it. He also had a great time with his family and friends running the Gun Club in Gold River.
Family invite you to attend a memorial service on August 24, 11:00a.m., at Living Hope Christian Fellowship, 2B-2364 Rosewell Cres. in Courtenay.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would please Robbie very much.
Cremation was done with respect and great kindness at Comox Valley Funeral Home on Ryan Road. We appreciate the care you gave to our Robbie and to us Howard, Thank you.
I know you are in the arms of those you loved. Just know you will always be in the hearts of those of us left behind. Love and miss you terribly little Bro.
