Rowe, Robert Stanley
Stan passed away quietly in Ajijic Mexico, February 5, 2006. Born October 27, 1919 in Vancouver.
Stan is predeceased by his wife Dora July ‘96. They moved to Courtenay area in the early 1940’s. He served in the RCAF in World War II with his twin brother Fred.
He is survived by Jeff & Pat Rowe of Keremeos, Ian Rowe of Saturna Island, and daughter Sandi Allin Briscoe & husband Mike of Chapala/Ajijic Mexico. Five grandchildren Shannon Forner of Keremeos and David Rowe of High Level, Alta. Debbie Erickson of Campbell River, Doug Allin of Peachland and Gerry Allin of Vancouver and 9 great-grandchildren.
Stan is a Past-President of the Kiwanis and was always very active in the community. He spent several winters in Mexico with his daughter and then happily moved to Mexico in 2000.
Stan touched many lives and will be sadly missed.
