TOSH, Robert

Robert Tosh passed away peacefully on February 22nd, 2010 in Comox, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his wife Eva Tosh and brothers Charles, David and Duncan. Robert is survived and will be greatly missed by his son Robert (Elaine) Tosh of Nelson, daughters; Lorna (Eric) Mikkelson of Courtenay and Maureen (Jerome) Fallon of North Vancouver, grandchildren; Andrea, Christopher, Alison, Robert and Kathryn, sisters; Agnes Abbott of Courtenay and Winnifred Chapman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Robert served 5 years overseas in the RCAF during WWII, specializing in radio and radar technology. He worked for 45 years in Vancouver as a lithographer. In his leisure time Robert loved to work on old radios and other electronics as well as his runabout boat. He was a gentle man, dedicated to his family, usually quiet and reserved but had a dry wit and sense of humour. If friends so wish, donations made in Robert’s memory to the Comox Valley Hospice Society, 2137 Comox Avenue, Comox, V9M 1P2 would be appreciated.
