Ron Fowler passed away suddenly in Campbell River on December 10th, 2004, aged 56 years. Ron is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife Marg, his daughter Jessie of Victoria, his brother Ian (Marilyn) of Victoria, his niece Deanna (Paul), nephews Rod (Terry) and Colin (Jewel), as well as 2 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews. Ron was employed by BC Ferries for the past 33 years working the Texada Island, Cortez Island and Prince Rupert routes. He will be fondly remembered for his love of nature, biking and golfing. Ron could always be relied on to lend a hand and cheer you with his unique sense of humor. Ron was a loving father, husband and a true friend. He has touched our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers a donation in Ron’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. A gathering of family and friends in Celebration of Ron’s life will take place at The Rocky Mountain Cafe, 1718 Riverside Lane, Courtenay on Saturday, December 18th, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Arrrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD.
