Ronald Ruscoe

Ruscoe - Ronald of Courtenay, formerly of Stratford, Ontario passed away peacefully at home after a courageous fight with his lung disease on Friday, September 13, 2002, aged 70. He was predeceased by his parents in England and is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne, his daughters: Karen, Maxine, Nichola and Joann, his four grandchildren: Samantha, Michael, Charlotte and Hannah, his sister Marion, Her husband Carlos and their son David, his many cousins and friends in England, and his many friends in the Comox Valley.

Ron sang with the Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir when in Vancouver. He was a founding member of the Comox Valley Celtic Club, and participated in many productions with the Co-Val Choristers, sang with the North Island Choral Society, and was an active member of the Evergreen Seniors serving on their executive for two years.

Special thanks to Dr. Desmond Konway, the Reverend Maggie Enwright, the Home Care nurses: Phyllis, Barbara-Lynn and Michelle of WeCare, all my wonderful neighbors and especially Mary Ellen, Liz, Jeannie, Carol, Margaret and our good friends John & Sheila.

Celebration of Ron’s Life Service to be held on Friday, September 20th, 1:00 P.M. at the Florence Filberg Center, with the Reverend Maggie Enwright officiating followed by refreshments and a gathering with friends and family.

COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 Ryan Road, entrusted with arrangements.
