Roberts - Ruth Bernice
1918 - 2006
Passed on peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family on January 4, 2006. Predeceased and now joins her husband Dave (1995). She will be lovingly remembered by, her children Ray (Marie), Pat (Clarence), Jerry (Penny), Denise (Eric), Glen (Shelley), Lyn (Markus), Wayne (Loreen); as well as, her devoted brother Ken Woodhouse. She will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Our Mom was a very special lady, who loved her extended family, was always there to support us and always saw the best in everyone. Mom was a gentle, warmhearted and compassionate lady with a sense of humour, who had devoted her life to the love of her family.
A special thanks to the many wonderful care workers who provided loving care and to Dr. Smit who went far beyond the expectations of his profession.
Because of Mom’s love for animals, donations in her memory may be made to the local S.P.C.A.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 1:00 pm at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 145 Simms Rd., Campbell River, B.C.
